Ok so rating comes with a caveat..I’ve bought and worn both Bison and Wheat w/white gum bottoms-5/6x days a week 12Hours a day, legit. From crawling under foundations, cross spaces, to rooftops, climbing ladders from one roof top 5xStories up, turn around to go another 30ft to an adjacent roof on an old brick building(old brewery from 20’s in Philly) These boots are Light weight, breathable, very comfortable outve box with very little break in period. Fit is where the caveat lies.14 is what I wear, not wide just reg.14m, Bison colors are probly the abt most perfect fitting, work boot size I’ve ever had.100%.Wheat on other hand, is definitely a tad bigger somehow in length and toe room box. I don’t like that much room, I don’t like shoes too narrow either but toe box can be too much room where it’s just not a good stable and secure feeling. Idk if that’ll make sense but wheat ones I threw inserts in and it basically cured the toe box room..kinda. Not really Haha I keep telling myself that, and as it’s cold out it’s not a big issue bc thicker socks HaHaLast Note, these boots aren’t like full leather boots in winter/snow that keep u warm, they are designed for warm climate and airing your feet so heat loss in snow is somthing that bothers me with these. It’s a small issue, and it’s more my fault than DeWalts, knowing the boots breathability it’s on me to switch up what boots I wear that Day, knowing where I’ll be. So yes I’d recommend, for spring n summer(fall even too) months I’d say if you want lightweight reliable boots 110% pull the trigger. Cost vrs other brands for me was 2 pairs of these vrs 1 of my normal brand so it was worth a try and I’m glad I did!
