I have arthritis in my thumbs, so it has gotten harder to button and unbutton shirts. I needed a plain (undecorated) long sleeve white shirt for chorus performances, which I wanted to be able to put on and take off quickly. This shirt, which I suspect was designed for cooks and waiters and service people in general, was perfect for me. The fabric is sturdy and plain, not fancy, but it looks enough like a dress shirt, especially under a suit jacket. The neck snaps together adequately for wearing a tie. I have washed it once; it came out of the dryer looking pretty good, although it might benefit from a little touch-up ironing. An excellent find which made my life easier.
