Needed some gloves to keep the biting cold wind at bay while I worked outside. Mostly moving lumber, opening cold metal gates and a little snow removal. These seem to work well so far. Received them and used them yesterday. Temps were about 34 degrees and snowy. Kept my hands much warmer than my old gloves, but I will say that they were not total "toast" as it were. They kept my hands warm, but I could feel a colder temperature change at my fingertips after being out a while with my hands getting in snow etc. Not uncomfortable or where I would say that my fingers were cold, but I could tell a bit of difference.Often we get to zero or below in the winter so I'll update if there is anything that is majorly different in their use.A note on sizing. I read a lot of reviews talking about the fingers being long. My experience is DIFFERENT on the ones I just received. In other brand gloves I most often buy a Large size. Typically this gives me a little room in the glove (not much) and tends to not be too long in the fingers. Looking at the pictured size chart I actually measured out to wear a Small glove! I really did not trust that. So, I split the difference between what I usually get and what their chart shows for fit and ordered the Medium size. They fit......like a glove. Sorry, could not resist. A medium should, by the pictured size chart on the listing, have given me room around the body of my hand and also a little more finger length. What I found was that the glove fit perfectly around my hand if actually a little tight on the knuckles when making a fist. After flexing my hand a bit I did not find the tightness uncomfortable and I feel like once the gloves are broken in a bit they will fit great in that area. Let me say, after use yesterday, I did not have any issues with rubbing, fatigue or anything on my knuckles from this slight tightness when closing my hand. Just wanting you to be aware of how they fit me.On to the fingers. I wonder if the manufacturer has been listening to the reviews about the fingers being too long as, what I found was they fit perfectly to the tips of my fingers. No extra glove flopping around on the end of each finger. The shaft of the glove fit well and I am able to close the velcro to get a nice fit on my wrist. No issues there. What do I think this means? Well, first, I'm happy with the size I purchased and think they will work well for me. NOT considering returning them and getting a larger size.Having said that, IF I was going to order another pair, I would be tempted to order my typical Large size that I have used in other gloves. Only because, going off how this pair fit me, I think it would give me that knuckle room from the start with the trade off of maybe a little extra fingertip room.
