I bought these pants for work. I caught them on sale so I had to buy them. Not long ago I bought a pair of cargo dickies and I liked the fit so these being the same size was a no brainier. When the pants came in I was a little hesitant. They were much dressier than I thought. They came with a crease and they close at the waist like my dress slacks. They are a little loose at the waist but other than that no issues besides coworkers calling me fancy pants. These pants are a good buy for under $30. Still a little baggy, hard to call them slim. They have a great silhouette and I love how straight they are. With the pleats they give the pants a classic look that you could dress up or down.Wash 1-2 times to soften up and order at least one size up for waist. I’m 5’ 10”, 185lbs and usually wear 33-33 waist. For these I got 34’s and they’re fine but a little tight on the waist. My phone is 13 and wears a 32x32 And they fit great he did want slimmer but I wasn’t going to send them back so if you want very slim pants these aren’t for you but they do work for someone who isn’t looking for that super slim fitThe only problem that I have is that this pair wasn't rigid enough like the original material..the were like the flex material which I don't like...im ordering another pair and I hope that these are the rigid original materialUsually a 36 but since it’s slim fit got a 38 for this. Very nice looking and is suitable for work indeed. Would recommend and probably will buy another pair in the futureOverall, nice trousers. My main complaints is the they were not available in 29 length. A problem I frequently contend with.Very well made.I enjoy wearing these but the only problem I have with it that it's not that flexible material. I feel like one day it might tear when I kneel down to pick something up.Look great and I have had plenty of compliments. They are also great for sitting down in UNLESS you have testicles. If you have testicles or are thinking of getting some these are not the trousers for you. They fit perfectly at the waist and leg but now I speak an octave higher and will have to adopt as I fear I can't have children naturally. Your call people.I need smart but strong trousers for work. now these at £35 are about double what I would normally pay and they're expensive compared with other dickies workwear but they're going to easily last twice as long as trousers I normally wear. Now sizing, I usually wear size 36 and decided to heed other peoples advice and size up to 38 and I'm glad I did, they're a little loose but with a belt will be perfect and I don't have the tightness others have reported thanks to them sitting a little lower. Other thing to note is here my legs are normally too long for 31 inch leg but little short for 33 which is the UK standard but these 32's are again just right.Initial review was 5starsAlways tough to get right size online. I matched the sizing I wear for M&S trousers. Perfect fit. Quite a stiff trouser, robust material. I have worn Dickies kit for many years always happy.Updated,I have updated to 2 stars for the following two reasons.1. Pockets are to shallow. Keys and wallet falls out as soon as you sit down.2. Seem on the left leg is not straight. By the time is at the ankle it is 2 inches offline. Once noticed it is glaringly obvious. I can only assume I have been sent seconds otherwise QC is shocking.Lol no longer happyAlways loved Dickies 872s but as fashion is swaying back towards a wider leg, I thought I'd give these a try. These have the cool, rolled up look I was going for but I would say that the crotch is not low enough. Would like them a little more roomy up there!I’m a skinny 6ft and they fit looser than you would expect from the slim on the label, so if your expecting slimmer trousers then find a extra slim or skinny variant. But If like me you me you like a wider/baggy leg that you can roll up at the bottom then these are good. I’ve always loved dickies pants and they are the most durable trousers I’ve ever worn, really good quality. They used to be a lot cheaper but since they last years I’m happy to pay the price.
