Perfect for chemical and gasoline tanker work101/2 wide is not very wide. I'm going on day 5 and still trying to break them in. Very tight narrow fit. So far I'm not happy. Problem is I e worn them to much to return.I'm a concrete mixer driver. And this was my second pair of Georgia Mud Dogs that I've owned. My previous ones were a pair of slip ons which lasted me about a year and some change. This pair of lace up boots only lasted me about 6 months before the soles started falling apart. For the price, I wouldn't recommend them, at least not for my line of work.The boots look and feel great comfortable used them one time only they feel a little stiff yea cuzz ther new. Have not tired them on the water yet we dont get much rain in So. Cal.The only thing is that my dog got a hold of them and this is what happenThis is my second pair love these boots, I started wearing them in a chicken plant./ Second pair when I got my cdl license so I just drive (What is the warranty )because where the rubber An leather meet on top the toe, it’s cracked an split. The warranty says not to use oils or grease. An I think I should have gotten more then 3 an a half months out of them. An my last pair did not hurt my feet An arches this bad.I.like them they are comfortableI love these boots and i am on my feet at work for 12-16 hours a day for 5 or 6 days a week, working in water, mud or standing on hard concrete. they started off a little stiff around the ankle areas at first for maybe a month, but once the leather became broken in they fit perfect. The cusion system in the insole makes it feel like im standing on cotton and even standing in water my feet stay dry.i'm deffinately ordering another pair not because these ar worn out but because the company i work for buys us employees a new pair of boots every year.I'm being a bit judgemental on this boot, but I'm questioning the durability of the soles of the boot. More particularly the thin hardened layer of treads over a softer sole connected to the boot. This is why I'm giving it a temporary 4 stars. Other than that they are extremely comfortable and shed mud like a champ with the shallow treads, yet still provide traction.
