Initially I purchased one pair in Desert Khaki color to try. I did a decent amount of research, even contacting Dickies directly, since no local stores carried any in my size.My work requires that I wear durable, washable pants that are somewhat stain resistant. Previously the company had provided rental Red Kap pants and I did not care for those at all. These fit true to size and have an approximately 1 3/4" Flex waist band which is great for work. Why? These are just snug enough to stay on my waist and not sag, yet they have enough give when I squat, crouch, and bend that they don't bind or need to be adjusted when I am again upright. The material is a 65-35 poly-cotton blend, but it feels much smoother than I would expect (far nicer than the Red Kaps). At a distance these almost look as nice as my somewhat dressier Dockers or Haggar khakis, though close review shows thicker belt loops with stitching that is more obvious and not as refined. This is to be expected with a work pant. The closure is a metal clip style which is much preferred over a button which can be torn off or wear over time. While I do wear a belt with them, they would look fine without. So, the first pair was great.I ordered four more in the same color plus one in Dark Navy and they all fit identically to the first.Consistency is a big plus.I have worn and washed the set of Desert Khakis 6 days/week for a month now and they show zero wear. If I get them out of the washer and hang them to dry quickly then I have no issues with wrinkling. I did iron a few of them once or twice but it isn't necessary.Yes, these are a bit more expensive than the WP874 line but have such nicer features that I was fine with paying the extra.Highly recommend these for fit, consistency, durability, and styling
