My fifth or sixth pair. I am a commercial roofer. Georgia boots are hands down the most popular in my trade. Super durable.Second pair I've owned. I use for light construction and farm use. Sole wore out before leather uppers.Wasn't in original box (no big deal) but the shoes were missing 2 things: didn't have insoles, didn't have paper padding in toes. I got the shoes with a crumpled toe and a super loose fit. It took about 2 minutes of wearing them to figure it out, since my sock was stuck to the shoes. The glue they use to hold down the insoles stuck to my socks. I had to go buy insoles, and now it fits.Very pleased!Just put the boots on after receiving them today. Very comfortable. Looks like they will work well for what I do, which is mostly site visits for lawn/tree maintenance. Not sure yet if I should have ordered a smaller size since they feel 'roomy' initially, but I don't typically do things that stress the leather other than walking. If it stretches I can add an insert and wear normal socks to compensate (I hate socks, and wear thin ankle socks). I'll try and add input after owning several months.Tread doesn't look like it will last very long, but does look like it will have good traction while it lasts. The leather is soft and I haven't noticed any bothers after walking around the house (with no high socks) even with the metal showing inside for the ties. I don't see this being any issue. The leather where the toes start looks like it will need to be oiled frequently because I can see where it wants to crease that may get thinned out if not cared for properly. The boot is quite secure on the feet laced up with some room for the leather to stretch a little after awhile. Sizing was slightly big, but I am ok with that after trying them on a few times in doors in case I want to send them back.As far as looks go, the boots look very functional, I like that. The comfort is really nice walking around. I would order these again if they aren't falling to pieces after using them for work for awhile. So far it feels like they breathe well - not too hot. They aren't heavy at all. Good buy so far. I'll update when I've worn them around town a few months.GoodI’ve bought these boots in the past and have loved them. However The pair that were sent this time smelled like stinky dirty feet And there were gum and rocks and other debris stuck in the treds!Great boots from a company that truly cares about quality and durability ! This is my second purcharse of boots from this company and the first purchase was a 10" boot / no laces/ no steel toe. These take awhile to break in but are comfortable once they are. The boot pictured above with laces is very comfortable right out of the box and has a decent insole that is just spongy enough that wearing them all day they're as comfortable at the end of the day as at the beginning when you put them on. The small rubber border between the sole and the leather is one of the reasons I bought this particular style. I'm a licensed electrician who is tough on his boots. The rubber border is great at saving the toe from becoming scuffed and worn. Other boots I've owned without this piece end up developing a hole in the toe from the wear they get when your installing receptacles Normally your working kneeling down with the toes of the boot rubbing on whatever the surface of the floor concrete is especially rough on the toes. The rubber strip on these boots seems to really save the toes. It's a great idea for a great boot.Great boots, this is my second pairAwful I wish I still can return itI only used it once and now sitting on my shoe rack
