I have previously purchased Reebok Work 'N Cushion shoes, the original version, and thought since these were the 2.0s, they would be better and thus an upgrade. Definitely not better and I am actually giving them 2 stars because I loved the previous version so much. I work on my feet and log well over 20,000 steps in a day, for anywhere from 8 to 16 hours a day, 6 days a week and my shoes are EXTREMELY important to keep me healthy and mobile. This latest version of the Work 'N Cushion 2.0 has, in my opinion, taken a shortcut on the sole of the shoe (thickness, arch shape, step rebound) and substituted it with a "memory foam" insole, which is very trendy and gimmicky. Memory foam insoles may feel great upon putting on the shoe for the first time and taking your first step, but walk in it for a few minutes and it proves to be irrelevant.I have given these shoes one full month and a few days in an effort to "break them in" and attempt to salvage my purchase. The shoe's upper is almost perfect, with a snug fit that hasn't overstretched with wear. There is a slight stitch rub over the outer toes on the right shoe, but not a problem with the right socks. The problem is everything below the foot. The flex on the sole is limited and not very cushioned. There is no spring back from foot strike to the floor. The memory foam is a gimmick and was useless after a few days. I purchased other insoles to replace them almost immediately which helped temporarily but because of the lack of ergonomic shape and support of the new sole, these are only slightly helpful. After a month of use, I have pain radiating from the plantar fascia (soles of my feet) all the way up to my lower back. Needless to say, I've been on the hunt for a new pair of shoes ASAP.I bought these a few months ago when I started on as a mail carrier. I’m walking miles every day, over pavement, concrete, wet grass, rocks, navigating cluttered front yards, and stepping in dog poop. They’re COMFORTABLE. My feet haven’t given me much trouble from them, despite the grueling pace I set and how hard I’ve used them 6 days a week for months. But, the sole is now separating from the upper on one shoe, and there’s a hole in the toe on the other. Really, though, from what I’ve been told, that’s not unexpected. We are hard on shoes, as a profession. For the price, they’ve been great. Thinking about ordering another pair.I have had 4 hip surgery the last of which caused permanent nerve damage in my quads, this is the best shoes I have ever worn for work. I'm on my feet for long periods all day a nd these paired with micro fiber bamboo socks has made it so I can walk so much better and I have no pain in my feet!. I have tried shoes after shoes all my life and never felt like this! They inner soles are soft so my leg length discrepancy isn't so extreme and helps me balance better not so much strain on knees. The inside also has upper cusining on tghe top of my foot which feels so wonderful. I will buy these from now on I hope they never stop making them!I’m giving these shoes 4 stars even though I had to order another pair due to sizing. I usually wear a 7.5 and still have plenty of room in tow box to wiggle my toes. However, these hurt my pinky toes after one day of wear. They are still great shoes. I carry mail on foot and walk anywhere from 5 to 8 miles, 6 days a week. These have decent support, decent cushioning for shock absorption, and my feet didn’t ache at the end of the day. Just sore pinky toes. I just ordered a size up and hope that does the trick.A little snug at first, but I broke them in slowly, and everything worked out.. The first day, I wore them 10 minutes on the treadmill before pausing my workout and switching to my old shoes, then increased wear 5 minutes a day for about a week. By the end of the week, I just started wearing them for my entire one hour walk, and they were broken in fairly easily. I'm getting older (mid-forties), and I suspect the initial snugness has something to do with that. Now that they're broken in, I walk in them every day. They're very comfortable and seem as if they'll hold up well. I'll update if they seem to wear more quickly than usual, but it's only been 2 weeks.I needed extra cushion and support. This is my third pair, let me explain. I first bought Hoka one one for $160 & Vionic for $150. both with 30 days trial and free shipping and return). For comfort - I'll pay anything if it meets my purpose. Both shoes didn't have the cushion support -returned. I read the reviews on this shoe and thought for $39 - will try and if good cushion inserts are needed than I'm still ahead! Let me say- the comfort was even better than the other brands, but for me, the added insert & price made it perfect! These are some especially comfortable shoes I wear to work I just wish they had it in Red, Blue, or Emerald Green. I like them because I'm on my feet going up and down stairs, hard cement and I work outdoors in a park and they sometimes get wet. They are high enough to not get my feet wet if it rains a little, now if it's pouring buckets, or tall puddles, my socks get soaked and I hate that feeling. Like i said though I love them and plan to order a replacement pair real soon. I just wish they made them of the same material but different colors besides black or white. It's been impossible for me to beat the Reebok's for work shoes. If you ever wear these with the cushion grip, you'll agree. I've had great luck with them as far as durability. Superior in my opinion. I work in construction and have been able to wear these shoes for up to two to three years without any of the stitching coming loose, and the shoe remaining intact. The memory foam is a nice touch, but I still add insoles as my heels are prone to bone spurs. No shoe out there can combat that, so it's not a negative toward the shoe. I will continue to buy these as long as they continue to make them.Bought a pair of these 6 years ago.....Yes that's right 6 years. I work security and do a lot of walking etc. These are the best shoes i've every purchased. They last it seems forever. My old ones are still going strong, although getting a little tired out. I purchased these to use for my new post where i walk 6miles a day. These are so comfortable and my feet are not aching at the end of the day.....Highly recommend them. Some would say that they are expensive, but in my view the price for a pair of shoes that last 6+ years is very good.feels quite hard, not nice for walking. i have bad heels and i really walk a lot.. so this was definitely not the right choice for me. And return is not allowed because it is from the global store. Disappointed. (but shoes are tricky to purchase over the internet so i would not quite blame anyone for this).OUCH!!!!! The right foot is rubbing against my pinky knuckle!!! I will never buy anything other than Nike and UnderArmour again!!!! These were expensive shoes too!!! Terribly disappointed!!! They don’t move with my foot either. They are stiff like cheap plastic. Zero starsThe heel section is too wide. My ankles started hurting when I tried them on and walked around a bit. The whole shoe is very stiff and unyielding. It was overall too uncomfortable. The construction is definitely sturdy. The cushion insert is comfortable on the soles of the feet.what amazing shoes! I ordered the size I thought I needed and they were a perfect fit! They are so very comfortable and very well made. I highly recommend them for anyone who does a lot of standing for long periods of time and also a great walking shoe!
