So I’ve worked in manufacturing for 20+ years.I’ve had all types of safety shoes from $ - $$$$$With comfort levels from :-( to :-DThese shoes (or boots) ..The do fall at the top of the $$$$But the also sit at the top of comfort :-DI am only alloted $ in July to buy safety shoes for the year .So I had to wait …But I am already looking forward to next July i buy them in brown leatherI wore these for a week, then returned to my previous brand - miserable by hour number 6.I have only one concern - well two:1. Longevity - how will these hold up over time2. On oily surfaces my footing felt - slightly shakyBut to date - No regretsI have wide feet so I tend to buy shoes “too big” to accommodate- not needed hereA 10.5 for like a 10.5 and my toes had room. Also you know some shoes that flex and the safety toes feels like it’s gouging I to your foot ? Not these l!I also like the Aesthetics of the tow cap.The ease of on/off is nice as wellI have a pair of DM slip on “$#t kickers” but getting them on and off is painful - these = relatively simpleThe only safety shoe I’ve enjoyed wearing as much as these no longer exists sadly.Joint lawsuit for NOT making round buttocks put them out of business :-)Try’emLov’emThank me later (or is it latter)(Where’s spell check when you need it?)It’s hard to find steel toe boots with a wide toe box. These Blundstones are “almost” there. It’s a great brand and I’ll keep them and wear them, but the search for the perfect work boot continues.Highly recommend, comfortable out of the box and have only gotten more comfortable with wearThese are absolutely the best boots I have ever bought. As a fireman I work 24-36 hours at a time.. I wears these boots everyday and I can believe how comfortable these are. They are comfortable, stylish and incredibly functional. I am super hard on boots. Every other boot I’ve bought lasted 6-8 months. These have lasted me about a year so far and they still look good and take a shine. This is my second pair of Blunnies. My first pair lasted nearly ten years, they were the classic type (Model 500? 550?). I wore them all day at work at a hospital job, on my feet, as well as daily at our stables, doing farm work. The only trouble was the occasional tool, log, hoof, landing on my foot. They were great in shallow mud, snow, and wet grass. I liked having one shoe for everything, just get up in the morning and slip 'em on. But the toes were getting the occasional contusion... so I purchased this model as a replacement and they are just as comfortable in terms of the foot bed. But the steel toe really adds weight. They are still my daily shoe at home, unless I intend to do longer walks, in which case they are too heavy for lots of walking at the hospital. I did wear them on a recent trip to see family back home in Indiana, and they were great as we didn't walk a lot. These have held up well against log falls when wood cutting, and the tread is much more aggressive and improved for walking slopes in the forest compared to my prior Blunnies. In conclusion, same great comfy footbed, slightly looser feel (because the toe box is bigger?), improved traction, great toe protection, love the slip-on, but heavy for walking distance.I'm in fire and EMS so I wear these in 12-24 hour increments at a minimum. For years, I have been wearing Bates side zipper boots thinking they were the best out there. Boy was I wrong. These are a little more expensive, but they are worth every penny. They are so comfortable! When I first put them on when they came, I thought they felt way too loose because of the lack of laces. After about 10 minutes, my mind was changed and I have loved them ever since. They slip on easy, they slip off easy. The side of the ankles are an elastic material so it stretches as needed to assist in removal. There are also finger holes on the front and back of the boot so you have something to grab on to. With my Bates, the steel toes would always get dinged up so quickly. These have a toe similar to my structural fire boot and only show a few minor dings after months of use. The few dings are more of scuffs as opposed to the steel which would show in the Bates. The comfort level is also incomparable. The toe box pinches a little bit, but feels fine once broken in. That being said the width is greater than I expected - even if you size down. I sized down a half size, and it’s still a bit wide. I use this boot for landscaping work in desert, mountain hills - seems like it works better on flat ground rather than hills and slopes.I went by my true foot size when ordering. Too tight, went up a size, and it was perfect. I bought these boots on a recommendation from a friend, and he told me the first time you put them on they should feel jus.t perfect. If they don’t send them back for another size and keep doing it until they feel perfect.einfach gute Schuhe.Sowohl modisch (zum Minirock, oben rum chick, ein super Bruch), als auch als Arbeitsschuhe unkaputtbar.Es lohnt sich aber, sie ab und an zu pflegen.too small, great shipping though
