Not the soft slacks material. Hard like dickie pants, probably will fade in a couple of washes. Fits tight on the thighs and loose on the back waist. Weird fit.sits right below the ankle I am 5’ good for shorter women.The quality of these pants are great! I sized up because my normal size was pretty tight. I wish they offered a long length inseam, I am 5’9 and they are definitely more like capris.I'm 5'0" and 105 lbs. I bought grey and black in size 4. These pants aren't terrible at all, but I think maybe it's important to know a few things:Even taking height into account, these pants are kind of weird. They don't have a very slim fit like in the pictures. They have a wide leg and a wide seat, but had I gotten a size smaller, I'm scared they would have been too small. The grey also has two different pictures with 2 clearly different colors. The grey is light as shown in the first picture and not much of a "charcoal like in the second. The back pockets are fake which at the time of purchase, was not mentioned. Since the front pockets are real and they have belt loops, I had assumed everything on these pants would be functional. I had to get these pants hemmed because I do like them, they just aren't exactly like the pictures seem to show. The waist had plenty of room for me, and it has an extra button to tighten them up more, which is great. By the way, these are cotton and they WILL shrink.All in all, the pants aren't bad for the price and function for meetings/work/events/etc, but maybe this review will at least help the shorter Women like myself.Great fabric, the length was perfect! I'm 5'2" 135#. I typically wear a 6, sometimes an 8. I ordered an 8 and although I could button them, the pockets puckered because they were too snug. I would've reordered, but size 10 was not availableI read the other reviews and sized up one size, they are a tad loose at my waist but I am bottom heavy, not loose enough on waist to need a belt - very flattering, love where they hit just above ankle, look great with pumps for work - material is a heavier chino type but keep their shape and did not get too wrinkly from sitting in them most of the day, I'm looking to purchase in other colors!The material is great. However they run kinda small so maybe size up to the next size of what you normally wear for a more comfortable fit. Usually size 16 is a little baggy on me (which I like for a more comfortable fit for me) however I ordered 16 in these and they are tighter than all other brands. But again seems to have good quality materialMy measurements are 42-35-46 and I typically wear a size 12 in pants. For these, I needed to size up. The 12s didn’t pull all the way up through the upper thigh and crotch area. The bit of spandex in the fabric does mean they loosen throughout the day, and I will probably need to bring in the waist with some elastic. However, I like the fit and look overall and will be purchasing these pants in other colors.Really liked how they fit. Comfortable and perfect for work. They fit pretty good and are very comfortable. I just ordered another pair in khaki, they were sold out of beige.. I am only 5'2 so the length was good for me. Unlike the models with their long legs the pants go higher on the ankle. haha.
