I'm a woman and I usually wear size 11 women's boots. I'm required to wear steel toe for work. Its been difficult (near impossible in fact) to find a woman's boot in my size. These are lighter weight than other steel toe boots I've worn which makes them much easier to wear all day. I like the cowboy style because I've been very uncomfortable in other boots because a boot shaped for a man's ankle just doesn't work for a woman. Besides, cowboy boots are at least sort of unisex, I don't feel like I'm wearing clunky men's boots anymore. The thick rubber sole seems to provide enough cushion. The floors at my work are all concrete and I'm here 9 hours a day 5 days a week. I spend a lot of my day at a desk but the floors are still concrete. I've only been wearing these for a week but they are already better than my last pair of CAT steel toe boots that I paid the same amount of money for. My next pair of boots I will look for a shorter shaft, this one is fine, it hits right below the fullest part of my calf, any higher and they wouldn't fit and I would have had to return them. They are a good value for what you get, in my opinion. I wish the shaft on these was leather too because the synthetic gets a lot hotter in the summer but so far its been okay (think July). The main part over my foot is leather and they have a nice insole that helps wick moisture away from the foot. The stitching pattern is nice even though mostly its covered by my jeans. I'm hopeful that they will hold up over time. They are a little tight across the top of the arch, I have quite high arches but I think as they break in that will get better.Great boots I do mason work, carpentry work and irrigation and have put these boots to the test and there still holding up 8 months laterATTENTION to buyers: when you click on these ORIGINAL work boots make SURE that your cart does not show you are selecting the STEEL TOE.This happened to me. I went back in and tried the process again and the same thing happened. Selected ORIGINAL ... and STEEL TOE pops up in my cart. so thats what we got and sent back with a notice of the page content error. Amazons link must have been, or still be, connected to the wrong product. after I notified them I got a response so I hope this has been fixed. I ended up abandoning my attempt to buy the Original Boots on Amazon that day tho, and found the same ones on workbooks.com. My husband likes these clunky boots and says they are comfortable. He wears a 14 so we will have to add on to our mud room. This is his second pair. Sometimes I almost can't open the back door if they are parked just inside! He literally walked out of the first pair he wore them so much. There is an insole which is quite nice and gives cushion.Choosing comfort over style, the green ones will do him just fine for a couple of more years of every day outdoor work. He wouldn't be able to get a pair of spurs around the heel. Like I said they are clunky. Each to his own! These boots have stampeded thru my expectations! I wear a size 11 tennis shoe & I bought the size 11 wide in brown/sawdust color. They fit true to size. They're a little bit bigger in the calf than I'm used to, but my jeans cover that anyway. What really impressed me with these boots was, me & my gf went walking around one of the plantations here in SC & she had an app that calculated at the end how many steps we had taken, we walked right at 16,000 steps just today, & while walking thru trails, hills, gravel, concrete, old wood bridges, grass, stairs, pretty much all kinds of terrain, I had these boots on. To the time this morning when I put them on, to the time we got back home, my feet didn't hurt one bit. If that's not a test to prove comfort I don't know what is! I originally bought these boots for welding school, & they work great in that department too! only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is when I first got them they had a good size scrape right on top of the foot that went thru the top decorative stitching. But I didn't care cause they're gonna take some abuse thru welding anyway. So time will tell with durability! But comfort defintinely gets a thumbs up. I'd recommend! ??Order one pair for my son. Came with two pair, and was billed for two. Not necessarily a quality issue, more an Amazon issue. Problem with the boots was they are for my 10 year old so I specifically wanted, and ordered, a soft toe. Showed up as a steel toe. I went back to check the ad to make sure I hadn’t just missed something and it specifically lists them as soft toe.Overall satisfied with these boots. We did end up buying them locally after returning 2 pairs because of sizing issues as they run a little small. The vendor was awesome, processing refunds very quickly. The boots did take a few days to break in. I would recommend wearing knee high socks during the break in time as they did cut up the legs a bit but once broken in, they are very comfortable.Love the boots but ordered soft toe product details for boots but steel toe were delivered so had to returnThis is the second pair of Justin stampede boots I've owned. The first pair lasted over 2yrs, much better than other top brands that barely make it 1yrs, One thing to note if you never owned a pair of Justin boots before the sizes are different, like I usually wear a 10.5 -11in other brands but my size in Justins are 9.5 eeGreat boots for the price, though very slippery in the snow.Good boot for the price I’m pleased.
